I’m Matt Glossop, a wedding violinist based in Cheshire, performing at weddings across the UK and internationally. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of playing at luxury weddings, private celebrations and some wonderful venues, both close to home and internationally.
I perform solo or with a pianist, playing for your ceremony, drinks reception or both. You might already know exactly which song you’d like to walk down the aisle to, or still be looking for inspiration - either way, I’d love to hear what you’re planning.

Solo Violin Wedding Package
My most popular package includes live violin music for your wedding ceremony and drinks reception.
Your Ceremony
15 minutes of music as your guests arrive, followed by your chosen songs for your entrance, the signing and your walk back up the aisle together.
Your Drinks Reception
Two 45-minute sets of live violin music while you and your guests enjoy drinks and celebrate.
What’s Included
Professional sound equipment, with the volume suited to your venue, plus custom arrangements of your chosen ceremony songs, agreed in advance.
Travel
I’m based in Cheshire and perform at weddings throughout the UK and abroad. Share your wedding date and venue, and I’ll put together a personalised quote, including any travel and accommodation costs.
Live Violin for Your Drinks Reception
With the ceremony over, it’s time to enjoy a drink and celebrate with your guests. From laid-back favourites to upbeat pop, I can keep the music relaxed while everyone chats or bring a livelier feel to your reception.
I’d love to hear which artists you enjoy and any songs you’d like me to include. My repertoire covers pop, jazz, film music, musical theatre and classical favourites - with plenty of familiar tunes for guests of all ages.
